The Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC) announced progress on major infrastructure and development initiatives aligned with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s 2025 State of the Nation Address (SONA), supporting key national priorities in agriculture, health, education, and sports development. The President is also known by his initials PBBM.
CIAC president Jojit Alcazar confirmed the accelerated development of a National Food Hub within the Clark complex, advancing the President’s mandate for food security and agricultural modernization. With 47 hectares allocated and 12 hectares fast-tracked, the hub aims to streamline the storage, processing, and distribution of agricultural products. This project also supports the Luzon Economic Corridor, reinforcing the Philippines’ role as a regional agribusiness and logistics hub.
In partnership with Philippine Pharma Procurement Inc. (PPPI), CIAC is establishing the Clark Pharma Hub, a logistics and distribution center equipped with cold chain capabilities to improve nationwide access to essential medicines. This project directly contributes to the President’s eight-point socioeconomic agenda for accessible, affordable healthcare and supports the rollout of the Botika at Bakuna Para Sa Mamamayan Program, according to PPPI president Maria Blanca Kim Lokin.
As part of its Urban Renewal Program, CIAC is implementing disaster-resilient infrastructure and sustainable water management systems. Projects include the Dolores Riverpark and Aviation Park, which will feature advanced rainwater harvesting and wastewater recycling to mitigate flooding and support urban sustainability — in line with the government’s climate adaptation goals.
Addressing the President’s call for expanded grassroots sports programs, CIAC is set to construct the Clark Sports Arena, a multi-purpose indoor venue for local and international competitions. Philippine Sports Commission Chair Patrick Gregorio praised the initiative as a model for decentralizing access to quality sports facilities and nurturing regional athletic talent.
CIAC is also advancing the Clark Aviation Campus, an education initiative to strengthen the aviation sector through specialized training programs and state-of-the-art facilities. This supports the SONA’s emphasis on education reform and workforce competitiveness, positioning Clark as a national hub for aviation talent and industry-driven learning.
With over 50 locators in logistics, aviation, manufacturing, and commercial sectors, Clark Aviation Capital continues to evolve as a key pillar in national development, responding directly to the policy directions outlined in President Marcos Jr. ‘s 2025 SONA.
