CIAC attracts ₱1.19B in investments following strategic rebrand

The Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC) on Thursday reported attracting ₱1.19 billion  (US17.1 million) in new investments in the first six months this year following its strategic rebranding as an aviation-focused development agency.

CIAC president Jojit Alcazar announced securing a total of ₱1,192,970,000 in approved deals from January to July—more than double the investments during the same period last year. This follows CIAC’s January 2025 transformation from a pure airport operator into an aviation and infrastructure developer under the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA).

“The rebranding has repositioned CIAC as a magnet for both domestic and foreign investors looking for high-potential sites near Clark International Airport,” Alcazar said. He stressed the new investments are consistent with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s plan of accelerating economic growth and job creation through increased capital inflows.

    The investment drivers include:

Stellavia Development Corp. (₱600 million) – Expansion of its mixed-use complex, enhancing the leisure and hospitality offering at Clark.

Global Square Plaza Phils., Corp. (₱400 million) – Development of a multifunctional facility featuring warehousing, drone training, and recreational services, expected to generate over 100 jobs in its first year.

All Fashion Gloves, Inc. (₱18.27 million) – Expansion of export-oriented manufacturing of luxury leather goods.

UET Group (₱169.7 million combined) – Reinvestment in textile and packaging manufacturing.

Skytrack Aviation Services (₱5 million) – Establishment of its fixed-base and ground handling office in Clark.

These projects are expected to create over 700 direct jobs and stimulate wider employment through support industries, reinforcing Clark’s role as a regional growth engine in aviation, logistics, and commercial sectors.

Alcazar described Clark Aviation Capital—home to Clark International Airport and the Clark Global City—as a rising hub for innovation and sustainable business. “These investments validate our vision of transforming Clark into a premier destination for commerce, manufacturing, and leisure,” he said.
