    Manulife,Watsons forge partnership to boost health awareness in PH

    Manulife Philippines has partnered with Watsons Philippines in a major health awareness initiative, underscoring a strategic corporate collaboration aimed at promoting nutrition, wellness, and preventive care nationwide.

    The initiative, part of Manulife’s ongoing Better Days health campaign, is designed to make preventive healthcare more accessible and affordable for Filipinos by leveraging both companies’ expansive networks. The campaign addresses key barriers such as cost and convenience, aiming to empower consumers to prioritize health and financial wellness.

    “This collaboration enhances our ability to support Filipinos in taking charge of their health through greater awareness and financial protection,” said Sonali Verma, chief marketing officer of Manulife Philippines. “Together with Watsons, we can expand our reach and impact.”

    Watsons Philippines echoed this sentiment, with business unit director Joweehlyn B. Liao stating, “Our partnership with Manulife strengthens our commitment to holistic wellbeing by giving more Filipinos access to essential health products and services.”

    The Better Days program also promotes flagship Manulife products like Medical Secure—which offers up to PHP 5 million in cashless hospitalization coverage—and HealthFlex, a plan providing lifetime protection from critical illnesses.

    Beyond public outreach, the partnership will roll out exclusive health programs for Manulife customers, employees, and advisors, emphasizing the campaign’s commercial and brand-building potential across sectors.
