Philippine Airlines (PAL) continues to soar in regional recognition, having been ranked the second most preferred airline in Southeast Asia in the prestigious 2025 Flyers’ Choice Awards by AirlineRatings.com.
The awards, which opened for public voting in April, are based on a robust mix of passenger votes, traveler feedback, and expert analysis by veteran aviation editors and professionals. AirlineRatings.com is globally recognized for its comprehensive evaluations of airline safety and product offerings, covering over 385 carriers worldwide.
The recognition highlights PAL’s growing reputation for reliability, service quality, and passenger trust.
“We thank the voting travelers for this special honor, reflecting the trust and satisfaction that all of us in Philippine Airlines strive to earn from our passengers by delivering friendly service, an unwavering focus on safety and reliability, and the genuine care that comes from the heart,” said PAL president Richard Nuttall.
The Flyers’ Choice Awards are a strong reflection of real passenger sentiment, drawing thousands of verified votes and serving as a key benchmark across the global aviation and travel sectors.
This latest accolade adds to a string of honors for PAL in 2025. Earlier this year, the airline was named Best Travel Brand—ranking #1 in the Philippines and #2 in Southeast Asia—in Campaign Asia-Pacific’s Southeast Asia Top 50 Brands list.
Further cementing its status, PAL was also listed among the Top 10 Best Asia Pacific Airlines and was recognized as the most punctual airline in the region last April, with a notable on-time performance rate of 86.07%, as reported by aviation analytics firm Cirium.
