SM Hotels to open P1.5B Radisson Sta. Rosa hotel

SM Hotels and Conventions Corp., the hospitality arm of SM Prime Holdings Inc., is expanding its regional presence with the opening of Park Inn by Radisson Sta. Rosa by the first quarter of 2029.

The P1.5 billion development will feature 201 hotel rooms, dining outlets, a pool, gym, and event spaces. Strategically located along the Sta. Rosa–Tagaytay Road in Laguna, the hotel will form part of SM Prime’s integrated estate and connect directly to a premier SM mall and the upcoming SMX Sta. Rosa Trade Hall via bridgeway. The 4,000-square-meter trade hall is expected to attract both regional and national meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) events.

The new hotel comes as Sta. Rosa continues to grow as a business and industrial center, with rising demand from both business and leisure travelers.

“This development will help meet that demand, create jobs, and support local economic activity,” said Peggy Angeles, SM Hotel executive vice president.
Designed by H1 Architecture, the hotel promises a blend of contemporary hospitality, local character, and Park Inn’s signature standards.

SM Hotel currently operates 10 hotels, including Conrad Manila and Radisson Blu, with over 2,600 rooms, along with six convention centers and two trade halls offering more than 42,000 square meters of leasable space.

The Sta. Rosa project reinforces SM Prime’s strategy of developing integrated estates where hospitality, retail, and business seamlessly converge—particularly in fast-growing economic hubs like Calabarzon, where Sta. Rosa ranks 11th among highly urbanized cities nationwide.
