CebPac expands operations to key domestic routes ahead of holidays

Cebu Pacific, the Gokongwei-led budget airline, announced Thursday it will deploy its Airbus A330neo aircraft to more domestic routes beginning October to meet rising travel demand during the holiday season and boost operational efficiency.

Starting 26 October 2025, Cebu Pacific’s 459-seater A330neo will begin flying between Manila and Iloilo (seven times weekly), followed by Manila–Puerto Princesa (four times weekly) from 2 November, and Manila–Bohol (seven times weekly) beginning 16 November.

“This allows us to offer more seats, lower fares, and an even more comfortable travel experience,” said Xander Lao, Cebu Pacific president and chief commercial officer. “We not only make travel more accessible, but also help drive tourism and stimulate economic activity.”

The move underscores CEB’s growing commitment to both passenger experience and environmental sustainability. The A330neo, a new-generation widebody aircraft, consumes up to 25% less fuel and emits less noise compared to older models, while enabling high-capacity, cost-efficient service.

CEB is the largest A330neo operator in Asia-Pacific, with 12 aircraft of the type, and became the first local airline to reach a 100-aircraft fleet in July 2025. The A330neo already serves major domestic and international routes including Cebu, Davao, General Santos, and destinations across Asia, Australia, and the UAE.

By deploying widebody aircraft on high-traffic domestic routes, Cebu Pacific strengthens its position as a key enabler of Philippine tourism and economic activity while reaffirming its leadership in low-cost, sustainable air travel.
