Cebu Landmasters acquires 78.8-hectare estate in Liloan

Leading VisMin property developer Cebu Landmasters, Inc. (CLI) has acquired a 78.8-hectare property in Liloan, Cebu through its joint venture subsidiary, Cebu Homegrown Developers Inc. (CHDI), with partner Ixidor Holdings Inc., accelerating its expansion plans.

Located just 17.6 kilometers north of Metro Cebu, the site will soon host the largest integrated township in the province. The planned development includes a multi-segment residential community, commercial hubs, and well-designed infrastructure interwoven with sustainable green and open spaces—offering future residents a blend of modern living and environmental balance.

“This acquisition substantially deepens our Cebu footprint and advances our mission to create leading townships in the VisMin region,” said CLI chairman and chief executive officer Jose R. Soberano III. “Together with Ixidor Holdings, we aim to create a model Cebuano township built for the future.”

CLI said the planned township will have transport hubs, retail centers, and schools that promise convenience and connectivity while delivering on the company’s commitment to smart and sustainable urban planning.

The Liloan acquisition strengthens CLI’s landbank and future development pipeline, aligning with the company’s strategic roadmap to meet rising housing demand in key growth areas. It follows the success of similar projects such as the Davao Global Township and Manresa Town in Cagayan de Oro.

CLI now has 127 residential, mixed-use, hotel, resort, and township developments across 18 cities in the Visayas and Mindanao, reaffirming its leadership in regional property development.
