Kaspersky Premium for Windows has been awarded the 2025 “Approved” certification from leading independent testing lab AV-Comparatives, recognizing its strong anti-phishing performance.
In the latest evaluation, Kaspersky detected 93 percent of over 200 phishing URLs, exceeding the 85 percent threshold required for certification—while also registering zero false positives. The certification highlights Kaspersky’s continued excellence in safeguarding users’ digital lives amid a rising tide of AI-driven phishing threats.
Phishing remains a top cybersecurity concern as attackers increasingly use artificial intelligence to create convincing fake emails, websites, and even multimedia content. Kaspersky’s AI-powered anti-phishing technology counters this trend with two machine learning algorithms trained on millions of web pages. These include an Optical Character Recognition (OCR) feature capable of detecting hidden phishing text in images.
Vladislav Tushkanov, group manager at Kaspersky’s AI Technology Research Center, noted that “leveraging machine learning transforms phishing detection, enabling us to stay ahead of increasingly sophisticated threats.”
Kaspersky’s solutions have consistently performed well in AV-Comparatives’ anti-phishing tests since 2011. In 2024 alone, over 67 million phishing attempts were blocked using AI-enhanced tools.
To stay protected, Kaspersky advises users to verify emails and links, avoid sharing personal data on untrusted sources, double-check suspicious offers, and use robust security solutions.
