Globe GFiber Prepaid has emerged as the country’s leading prepaid fiber service, posting a 37 percent growth in Q2 2025. With its affordable, contract-free, and reloadable setup, the service has captured the mass market, reinforcing Globe’s dominance in the fixed broadband space.
Fueled by convenience through the GlobeOne app and wide availability in community outlets like sari-sari stores, GFiber Prepaid has achieved a 68 percent reload rate—highest in its category. Average daily top-ups surged over 4.5 times year-on-year, reflecting growing demand for flexible connectivity among Filipino households.
The surge in GFiber Prepaid users helped push Globe’s total fixed broadband base to 1.5 million, up from 1.2 million in 2024. Fiber now makes up over 90 percent of Globe’s broadband revenues, highlighting its strategic focus on scalable, inclusive internet solutions.
According to Abby Cardino, VP for Broadband Brand Management, the product’s success lies in “simplicity, flexibility, and putting control in [customers’] hands,” with localized offers further deepening community relevance. GFiber Prepaid is now seen as a vital enabler of digital inclusion across the country—supporting online learning, remote work, and everyday connectivity needs.
