Yield Guild Games (YGG) has announced the highly anticipated return of the YGG Play Summit, the world’s largest player-focused Web3 gaming event, scheduled from 18 to 22 November 2025 at SMX Aura in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Metro Manila.
Long considered the global epicenter of crypto gaming, the Philippines will once again take center stage as Manila transforms into the “City of Play” — a vibrant, cyberpunk-inspired arcade metropolis that brings together gamers, developers, creators, investors, and innovators from around the world. The event aims to showcase the power of play as a catalyst for skill-building, exploration, and economic opportunity.
“This is about more than games — it’s about the power of play to unlock growth, skills, and new opportunities,” said Mench Dizon, country head of YGG Pilipinas. “We’re building a wonderland where the world gathers to experience what play can really mean.”
The summit will feature four immersive districts offering a range of interactive experiences. The Player District will spotlight top Web3 games including Axie Infinity, Aurory, and Pixels, with live demos and exclusive merchandise. The Degen District caters to more casual players, featuring lighter titles like LOL Land and opportunities to trade memecoins and other digital assets. The Skill District, supported by blockchain platform Sui and YGG Pilipinas’ educational arm Metaversity, will host workshops, mentorship sessions, and job opportunities for aspiring talent in the digital space. Meanwhile, The Arena will serve as the esports battleground, with tournaments for games such as Vibes TCG and Parallel TCG, the latter returning after a successful 2024 edition that saw YGG Esports player Zeliaser win the $20,000 grand prize.
Adding to the excitement, the GAM3 Awards by GAM3S.GG will return to the YGG Play Summit on November 21, once again hosted at Samsung Hall in BGC. After debuting its first in-person ceremony in 2024, the awards will continue to recognize the best in Web3 gaming, with categories like Game of the Year and Content Creator of the Year, drawing millions of votes and global attention.
Attendees can also opt for a VIP experience, which includes travel and hotel perks, curated dining, and access to exclusive social activities. These include the POB Crawl, a bar-hopping tour through the vibrant nightlife of Makati’s Poblacion district, as well as a game and sports day featuring pickleball matches and a karaoke night.
