ePLDT, the ICT arm of PLDT, has partnered with Dell Technologies and Katonic AI to introduce Pilipinas AI, the Philippines’ first sovereign AI solutions stack. Hosted at the VITRO Sta. Rosa hyperscale data center, the platform offers local enterprises and government agencies secure, low-latency access to cutting-edge AI tools and computing power, all while ensuring compliance with local data privacy laws.
Pilipinas AI builds on ePLDT’s GPU-as-a-Service offering, providing businesses with an integrated solution that eliminates the need for in-house infrastructure. This initiative aims to break down barriers to AI adoption, such as integration complexities and AI expertise shortages.
By hosting the platform locally, Pilipinas AI ensures enhanced performance and security, fostering national digital sovereignty. The solution is set to benefit key sectors like banking, healthcare, BPO, and academia, enabling advancements such as fraud detection, AI-driven forecasting, and medical diagnostics.
According to ePLDT president Victor Genuino, AI adoption is inevitable, and Pilipinas AI provides the foundation for Philippine enterprises to embrace AI with confidence, backed by secure infrastructure and trusted partners.
