The Philippine Airlines (PAL) has earned the prestigious Four Star Major Airline rating for 2026 from the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX), marking a significant milestone in its service excellence. The APEX Awards, based on verified passenger feedback across over one million flights annually, recognize top airlines for superior service in areas such as cabin comfort, cleanliness, inflight entertainment, and customer service.
PAL’s new recognition affirms its position as the Philippines’ only full-service legacy carrier and a key player in global aviation. Carlos Luis Fernandez, PAL EVP and COO, highlighted the airline’s commitment to maintaining high service standards for its global customer base.
This accolade adds to PAL’s impressive roster of international awards, including the 2025 Flyers’ Choice Award, ranking as the second most preferred airline in Southeast Asia, and being named the region’s top on-time carrier by Cirium in August 2025.
