EEI names new Infrastructure Division head

EEI Corp., one of the Philippines’ largest construction firms, has appointed Paul C. Visaya as head of its Infrastructure Division, effective this October. The move is part of a broader restructuring of the company’s organizational framework.

Visaya succeeds Senior Vice President Roman Lapuz, under whose leadership the division delivered major infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, railways, seaports, and airports. Over the years, the landmark undertakings of EEI include the EDSA Metro Rail Transit and the Metro Manila Skyway.

Listed EEI recently won the development of two infrastructure projects, both part of the South Commuter Railway Project 07. The projects are worth a total P1.8 billion.

A seasoned EEI executive, Visaya has been with the company since May 1997. Before his new role, he served as Vice President in the Buildings Division.

Visaya is a licensed civil engineer and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the Mapua Institute of Technology.
