Profriends launches P1.6-B housing project in Cavite

Property Company of Friends Inc. (Profriends) is entering the vertical housing market with its first condominium development, Westwind, located within its flagship township, Lancaster New City in Cavite. The project is expected to generate approximately P1.6 billion in sales from its first three low-rise buildings.

Spanning over 13 hectares, Westwind marks Profriends’ shift from primarily horizontal developments to vertical residences. According to Don Collado, Profriends’ business development head, the project is geared towards end-users rather than investors.

The initial phase includes 500 units across three buildings, with construction staggered annually starting 2026. A topping-off ceremony for Building One — which consists of 140 units — was held last week, with completion targeted by June 2026. Construction for the second building (170 units) begins in January 2026.

“Westwind is not just about building structures; it’s about building communities,” said Profriends President Kathleen Choa, emphasizing the project’s alignment with the company’s vision of a self-sustaining township.

Unit options include studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom configurations, with or without balconies. The average selling price is P3.2 million per unit. Amenities focus on health, sustainability, and connectivity, featuring jogging paths, bike lanes, outdoor workspaces, a clubhouse, pools, and eco-friendly features like solar lighting and drought-resistant landscaping.

Profriends has partnered with Archipelago Builders Corp. for construction. Choa added that Cavite’s rapid development and infrastructure upgrades make Westwind a strategic choice for families seeking the balance of suburban peace and urban convenience.

“Westwind reflects Profriends’ evolution and commitment to creating master-planned communities that meet modern Filipino families’ needs,” Choa said.
