Globe launches GoGIVE for Cebu quake relief

Globe is calling on its prepaid customers to support communities affected by the recent magnitude 6.9 earthquake in Cebu through its GoGIVE feature on the GlobeOne app. Contributions will aid the Ayala Foundation’s rehabilitation and psychosocial programs for impacted families and children, with the campaign running until October 19.

Using GoGIVE, subscribers can donate by converting unused mobile data into “hearts,” which can be directed toward relief efforts. “We are empowering our customers to show care in times of crisis,” said Yoly Crisanto, Globe’s chief sustainability and corporate communications officer.

Existing users can log in to their GlobeOne app and choose “Support earthquake relief in Cebu,” while new users can download the app, activate GoGIVE, and begin earning hearts for donation.

Meanwhile, Globe has fully restored its network services in Daanbantayan and San Remigio—areas hit hardest by service disruptions. Restoration efforts continue in Bogo City to ensure full connectivity.

For ongoing updates, Globe encourages the public to follow its GlobeICON social media pages.
