East West Banking Corp., led by the Gotianun group, has announced a three-year partnership with LinkedIn Learning to enhance the professional development of its workforce. The collaboration gives EastWest employees across all departments—from customer service to technology—access to thousands of expert-led online courses.
CEO Jerry Ngo emphasized that the initiative supports continuous learning, which he considers essential for personal and organizational growth. “This partnership brings LinkedIn Learning’s global content directly to every EastWestbanker, regardless of role,” Ngo said, highlighting its relevance for leadership, digital skills, data analytics, and more.
The initiative is part of EastWest’s broader talent strategy to build a future-ready organization. Alfie Suarez, the bank’s chief people, corporate services and sustainability officer, noted that it aligns with strategic workforce planning by offering personalized, on-demand learning paths. “It’s an enabler of purpose, growth, and leadership continuity,” he said.
