Canon employees donate blood in health initiative

Canon Marketing (Philippines), Inc. (CMPI) strengthened its corporate social responsibility efforts with a successful Blood Donation Drive held in partnership with the National Kidney and Transplant Institute (NKTI).

The initiative, part of Canon’s Health and Wellness program, saw 30 employee volunteers donate blood to help replenish NKTI’s supply and support patients in need of transfusions. The drive underscores the company’s commitment to fostering community health and promoting a culture of empathy and social responsibility among its workforce.

“Every drop of blood is a symbol of compassion and hope,” said Anuj Aggarwal, president and CEO of CMPI. “This initiative reflects Canon’s philosophy of kyosei—living and working together for the common good.”

NKTI executive director Dr. Jose Dante Dator lauded the collaboration, emphasizing the importance of private sector support in advancing healthcare. “Canon’s participation directly contributes to saving lives,” he said. “We hope more organizations will be inspired to do the same.”

Through this partnership, Canon Philippines continues to champion wellness and community engagement, extending its impact beyond imaging solutions and into the heart of humanitarian service.

Canon, a global leader in digital imaging, operates in the Philippines with a nationwide network of offices and service centers. The company is widely recognized for its innovation, customer service, and sustainability initiatives.
