The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf®, a popular global café brand under the Jollibee Group, has opened its first store in the Maldives.
The new branch opened on September 15, 2025, and is located along the beachfront at Hulhumalé’s Central Park. It can seat up to 35 customers and serves the brand’s well-known Ice Blended® drinks, specialty coffees, premium teas, and freshly made meals.
The café is operated by Waterscape Investments Pvt. Ltd., a local franchise partner focused on growing the brand in the country.
CBTL CEO Pepot Miñana said the partnership with Waterscape is key to bringing the brand’s handcrafted beverages to more people, and marks a step forward in their international expansion.
The opening in the Maldives is part of CBTL’s goal to become a leading global coffee and tea chain, and supports the Jollibee Group’s broader international growth plans.
The new store highlights the brand’s focus on quality, craftsmanship, and creating inviting spaces for both locals and tourists.
