Chinabank has once again been recognized for its strong commitment to world-class corporate governance, earning the Four-Golden Arrow Award from the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD).
The award affirms Chinabank’s consistent excellence in transparency, accountability, and beyond-compliance governance practices. Since 2019, the ICD — the domestic ranking body for the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS) — has continuously honored Chinabank for its adherence to international governance standards.
This year’s recognition, given during the 2025 Golden Arrow Awards on October 23 at Okada Manila, was based on the revised ACGS framework, which features stricter criteria and aligns with global best practices.
Chinabank joined seven other SM Group companies recognized for exemplary governance: Pacific Online (Two-Golden Arrow), APC Group and Atlas Mining (Three-Golden Arrow), BDO Unibank and Belle Corporation (Four-Golden Arrow), and SM Investments Corporation and SM Prime Holdings (Five-Golden Arrow).
Developed by the ASEAN Capital Markets Forum (ACMF), the ACGS evaluates listed companies on shareholder rights, transparency, board responsibilities, and sustainability.
Earlier this year, Chinabank was also named an ASEAN Asset Class company by the ACMF for the second time, highlighting its regional leadership in ethical and transparent business practices — a mark of trust for international investors.
