Bayanihan drives Philippine Startup Week 2025

The Philippine Startup Week (PHSW) returns in 2025 with its signature theme of bayanihan — the Filipino spirit of community and collaboration — at the heart of the country’s growing innovation ecosystem. Since its beginning, PHSW has served as a platform for startups, investors, corporations, and academic institutions to come together and build stronger partnerships that drive economic growth and technological advancement.

This year’s celebration, from November 10 to 14, continues that mission, highlighting the local champions, founders, mentors, and enablers who are shaping the country’s startup landscape. Through a nationwide series of Community Events, PHSW25 aims to make innovation more inclusive by connecting regional talent with key players in business and industry.

Programs fall under five themes — Discover, Develop, Collaborate, Invest, and Showcase — and include interactive sessions such as Kwentuhan @ PHSW2025 by StartUp Podcast PH, FL Demo Day by Founders Launchpad, and workshops like Unlock Your Startup’s IP Advantage by De La Salle University’s Innovation and Technology Office. Regional events, including hackathons such as Central Launch 2.0: Western Visayas Startup Hackathon by CPUGADTBI, further extend the reach of innovation beyond Metro Manila.

In corporate and commercial terms, PHSW serves as a bridge between startups and the broader business community, helping investors discover new ventures, corporations find innovation partners, and entrepreneurs gain access to mentorship and markets.

Interested participants can explore the full list of events and register at www.phstartupweek.com. PHSW25 continues to embody the belief that “it takes a village to raise a startup” — and that collective effort remains key to advancing the Philippines’ innovation economy.
