Ayala Corp. earns 5 Golden Arrows for corporate governance

Ayala Corporation has received the 5 Golden Arrow Award, the highest distinction for corporate governance excellence among publicly listed companies in the Philippines. This marks Ayala’s first 5-arrow citation, following its 4 Golden Arrow win in 2024 and 3 Golden Arrow in 2023.

The recognition is based on the ASEAN Governance Scorecard (ACGS), which evaluates companies on sustainability, resilience, stakeholder management, transparency, accountability, and board leadership.

“At Ayala, we believe that the highest standards of corporate governance are a prerequisite for a sustainable business,” said Cezar P. Consing, Ayala Corporation President and CEO. “Strong corporate governance is key to building and keeping stakeholder trust.”

Eight other Ayala Group companies were also recognized at the Golden Arrow Awards, underscoring the conglomerate’s leadership in governance excellence. Globe Telecom earned its fourth consecutive 5 Golden Arrow Award, while ACEN, Ayala Land, Bank of the Philippine Islands, and Integrated Micro-electronics, Inc. each received the 4 Golden Arrow distinction. AREIT and AyalaLand Logistics Holdings Corp. garnered 3 Golden Arrows, and ENEX received 1. In the insurance category, BPI AIA and BPI MS received 3 and 1 Golden Arrows, respectively.

Administered by the Institute of Corporate Directors, the Golden Arrow Awards honor companies that demonstrate adherence to the Philippine Code of Corporate Governance and international governance standards.

Earlier this year, Ayala Corporation was also named among the top five Philippine companies and listed among the top 50 ASEAN firms in the 2025 ASEAN Corporate Governance Conference and Awards.
