First Gen Corporation has earned a Bronze Award in the Asia’s Best Integrated Report (Large Company) category at the 11th Asia Integrated Reporting Awards (AIRA) held in Singapore. The honor recognizes the company’s excellence in transparent reporting and its leadership in communicating long-term value creation.
First Gen’s parent company, First Philippine Holdings Corp. (FPH), was also a finalist in several categories, including Asia’s Best Sustainability Report (Large Company), Asia’s Best Community Impact Report, Asia’s Best Sustainability Report (CEO Letter), Asia’s Best Materiality Reporting, and Asia’s Best Integrated Report.
FPH chief sustainability officer Agnes de Jesus thanked the organizers for the recognition, saying it reaffirms the company’s commitment to presenting its financial, governance, environmental, and social performance clearly to stakeholders. She highlighted the company’s focus on clean, renewable, and low-carbon energy sources—such as geothermal, hydro, wind, solar, and natural gas—in response to climate change risks.
Rajesh Chhabara, founder of the AIRA and managing director of CSRWorks International, praised First Gen for its transparency and integrated approach to reporting, saying the company demonstrates how linking financial and non-financial performance builds resilience and long-term trust.
The AIRA is considered Asia’s leading award for integrated reporting and value creation disclosure, with winners selected through a rigorous process involving independent reviews and stakeholder assessments.
