Philippine Airlines adds more flights to Los Angeles

Philippine Airlines (PAL) will increase its nonstop Manila–Los Angeles service from 14 to 18 flights a week starting June 2026, responding to growing travel demand between the Philippines and the U.S. West Coast.

Currently operating two daily flights using Boeing 777 aircraft, PAL will add a third flight on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

PAL president Richard Nuttall said the move expands access to the airline’s domestic and regional network and strengthens economic and travel links between the Philippines and the U.S. Travelers to Los Angeles will also enjoy easier connections to other U.S. cities through PAL’s partner airlines.

The Los Angeles expansion is part of PAL’s broader North American growth, which includes increasing Manila–Seattle flights from three to five times weekly in November 2025. The airline also flies daily to San Francisco and Guam, three times weekly to New York, and five times weekly to Honolulu.

PAL will launch Cebu–Guam nonstop flights on December 16, 2025—the only direct link between the two destinations. The added U.S. flights are expected to boost cargo capacity by up to 60 tons per week.
