NAIA secures first global customer experience award

NAIA has earned its first-ever customer-experience accreditation from Airports Council International (ACI), achieving Level 1 status for meeting global standards in managing and improving passenger service.

The recognition follows ACI’s July–September 2025 survey of 700 passengers across all terminals, where NAIA achieved full compliance with international data requirements. It also comes one year after New NAIA Infra Corp. (NNIC)—led by San Miguel Corporation and Incheon International Airport Corp.—took over airport operations through a 2024 PPP.

Under NNIC, NAIA’s passenger satisfaction score has risen to 4.06 out of 5, surpassing its concession target. Upgrades include improved staff service, faster check-in, better facilities, and new dining areas, such as the 6,000-square-meter food hall in Terminal 3. More food halls and major infrastructure improvements are underway through 2026.

NNIC has also remitted over ₱57 billion to the national government in its first year—the highest revenue share yet from a Philippine airport concession.
