EastWest Priority has partnered with Singapore Management University (SMU) to launch a customized program that enhances the skills of its relationship managers.
The six-month “EastWest–SMU Wealth Management Programme” will strengthen technical knowledge, market insight, and client engagement. The partnership supports EastWest’s goal of building a future-ready, high-performing wealth management team.
The agreement was formalized at SMU’s Singapore campus by EastWest CEO Jerry G. Ngo, senior EVP Rafael S. Algarra Jr., and SMU executive development leaders. Both organizations highlighted the importance of combining technical expertise with empathy in serving clients.
The program will include virtual classes and in-person sessions in Manila, ending with a graduation ceremony and SMU Executive Certificates. EastWest says the initiative underscores its commitment to raising the bar in relationship banking.
