Tetra Pak taps Perazzo to power regional growth

Tetra Pak has appointed Marcelo Perazzo as Managing Director for its Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, and Indonesia (MSPI) cluster, effective Monday, December 1, strengthening the company’s leadership bench in one of its fastest-growing markets.

Perazzo will be based in Jakarta, a regional hub for the food and beverage sector’s accelerating transformation.

The MSPI region—marked by rapid urbanization, shifting consumer preferences, and rising demand for innovation—has become a strategic priority for Tetra Pak. The company is pushing deeper into advanced processing and sustainable packaging solutions as customers seek efficiency, agility, and safer food systems.

Perazzo’s appointment signals that ambition. With nearly 30 years at Tetra Pak, he brings extensive experience in finance, marketing, and sales, along with a track record of converting long-term strategy into real-world growth. He previously held leadership roles in the Southern Cone and Iberia markets; most recently, he served as Sales Director for Tetra Pak Iberia, where he drove strategic customer programs and shaped successful market strategies.

He succeeds Michael Wu, credited for strengthening customer partnerships and positioning MSPI for sustained expansion.
“I’m excited to contribute to the continued growth of MSPI and to work alongside our customers in the region,” Perazzo said. “The food and beverage industry here is evolving quickly, and I look forward to supporting our partners in achieving their goals through innovation and shared value.”

As Tetra Pak deepens its presence across Southeast Asia, Perazzo is expected to help advance future-ready food systems by blending global expertise with local insight—boosting efficiency, reducing complexity, and driving sustainable growth for the region’s rapidly modernizing markets.
