Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Governor Eli M. Remolona, Jr. led the lighting of the BSP’s Christmas display at its Manila head office on 27 November 2025.
The event doubled as a reminder for the public to stay alert against scams during the holiday season. The BSP also encouraged Filipinos to send digital aguinaldo and to save cash gifts in banks or e-wallets, highlighted through its festive “digiwall” along Roxas Boulevard.
Governor Remolona was joined by Deputy Governors Bernadette Romulo-Puyat and Elmore O. Capule, along with Monetary Board Members Rosalia V. De Leon, Benjamin E. Diokno, Romeo L. Bernardo, and Jose L. Querubin.
