Globe launches region’s first telco partnership with Huawei unit

Globe At Home has become the first telecom provider in the Asia-Pacific region to partner with FusionSolar, aiming to bring AI-driven, clean-energy home systems to Filipino households. FusionSolar, already used in more than 3.9 million homes worldwide, offers an integrated solar solution for generating, storing, and managing power.

Through the partnership, Globe will offer FusionSolar, the solar energy arm of China tech firm Huawei, systems to its customers, combining clean energy with high-speed fiber to create homes that are more resilient and energy-efficient. The setup provides uninterrupted internet through AI-managed backup batteries, stable speeds powered by solar energy, and smarter consumption that can significantly reduce electric bills.

Globe says the initiative supports its push for sustainable, AI-powered homes. Its GFiber plans, with speeds up to 2.5 Gbps, are designed to complement this ecosystem. The FusionSolar system was recently showcased at The Blueprint by Globe, highlighting its role in modern connected living.

Customers can now access an exclusive P100,000 value on FusionSolar systems as Globe promotes more sustainable, future-ready households.
