Online gaming firm DigiPlus Interactive Corp. will discuss responsible gaming and corporate social responsibility at the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) Asia Philippines next week. The event will take place on December 10-11 at Newport World Resorts.
Erick Su, head of the company’s flagship sportsbook platform ArenaPlus, will join a panel on innovations in responsible gaming. DigiPlus plans to showcase its player protection initiatives and CSR programs.
“As the pioneer and industry leader in Philippine online gaming, DigiPlus is proud to be at the forefront of global industry dialogue at G2E Asia,” Su said. The company is also one of the event’s sponsors.
G2E Asia is a major trade show and conference, part of the wider Global Gaming Expo series, which includes events in Las Vegas and Macau.
DigiPlus is optimistic about a fourth-quarter recovery after a challenging third quarter. The company has been actively reaching out to high-value players to help them access its platform following the government’s August move to block online gaming access through e-wallets like GCash and Maya.
President Andy Tsui said the company has enhanced its payment system and partnered with other channels to ensure players can continue funding their accounts. While he declined to provide specific figures,
Tsui noted a gradual recovery over the past two months.
