The New NAIA Infra Corp. (NNIC) has launched new passenger facilities at NAIA Terminal 3 as part of its ongoing airport modernization program.
Key upgrades include the rollout of biometric Immigration e-Gates, which allow eligible passengers to clear immigration in about 20 seconds. A total of 78 e-Gates are being deployed across NAIA, with systems already operating at Terminals 1 and 3. The system, powered by global travel technology firm Amadeus, is aimed at easing congestion during peak travel periods.
NNIC is also opening two new food halls at Terminal 3. The All-Filipino Tambayan Food Hall features 17 local brands and can accommodate up to 2,000 diners, while the Mezzanine Food Hall offers 22 restaurants and cafés with seating for about 600 guests.
In addition, a new Dignitaries Lounge designed for official engagements will open at Terminal 3, along with a new airside Food Village that will expand dining options for departing passengers.
NNIC said similar improvements are being rolled out in other terminals. The company has remitted over P57 billion to the government under the NAIA public-private partnership, with more upgrades expected in the coming months.
