PAL launches first nonstop Cebu–Guam flights

The Philippine Airlines (PAL) has launched the first nonstop flights between Cebu and Guam, directly connecting Central Visayas to the US territory in the western Pacific.

The new route operates three times a week using Airbus A321ceo aircraft. It adds to PAL’s existing daily flights between Manila and Guam, giving travelers more options and flexibility.

PAL operates flights from hubs in Manila, Cebu, Clark, and Davao, serving 31 destinations in the Philippines and 39 international destinations across Asia, North America, Australia, and the Middle East. The airline also provides cargo and charter services.

In financial results, PAL reported a net income of $22 million for the July to September period, up 62 percent from $13 million a year earlier. For the first nine months of 2025, net income rose 17 percent year on year to $159 million.

Total revenue for the third quarter increased 3 percent to $755 million, supported by higher flight activity and steady passenger numbers totaling 3.8 million.
