Pru Life UK has joined the 51st Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) as a premium sponsor, strengthening its partnership with the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) and its support for Filipino films and storytellers.
As a festival partner, the company will take part in key MMFF events, including the Parade of Stars on December 19 and the Gabi ng Parangal awards night on December 27. Pru Life UK said its involvement reflects its commitment to supporting Filipino stories that highlight everyday life, resilience, and hope.
Kathryn Cajucom, head of brand and integrated marketing communications at Pru Life UK, said the MMFF is a long-standing holiday tradition that brings families together. She added that the company’s support aligns with its promise to stand by Filipino families as they plan for the future and face life’s challenges.
The 51st MMFF carries the theme “A New Era for Philippine Cinema” and features eight official film entries across different genres. The festival opens on December 25, continuing its tradition of showcasing local films during the holiday season.
