    BDO named most valuable brand; ranks among top ASEAN banking brands

    BDO has been named the Philippines’ most valuable brand and is the only Philippine bank included in the top 10 most valuable banking brands in ASEAN, according to Brand Finance, a global brand valuation consultancy.

    The recognition was announced at the Asia Brand Gala 2025 in Singapore, where Brand Finance Asia Pacific Managing Director Alex Haigh presented the certificate to Lorah L. Sy, Senior Vice President and Chief Executive of BDO Singapore. Karis S. Napa, Senior Vice President for Commercial Banking at BDO Singapore, also joined the presentation.

    Earlier this year, Brand Finance also named BDO the Philippines’ most valuable brand for the second consecutive year. The bank’s brand value increased by 48 percent to US$3.7 billion.

    Brand Finance said the recognition reflects BDO’s continued focus on improving customer experience, expanding financial inclusion, and strengthening operational performance.

    “BDO’s consistent performance and strong reputation show its ability to align brand strength with business results,” Haigh said, adding that these factors continue to support the bank’s leadership position in the Philippine banking industry.
