2GO upbeat on 2026 as logistics demand grows

2GO, one of the Philippines’ leading logistics companies, is optimistic about its outlook for 2026 as it continues to expand its freight, express delivery, and sea travel operations.

Company president and CEO Frederic C. DyBuncio said 2GO is focusing on building smarter and more responsive logistics services to support economic growth. As the Philippine economy expands, he said efficient movement of goods, services, and people becomes even more important.

The Philippine logistics market has been growing steadily, driven by higher consumer spending, infrastructure improvements, and the rapid rise of online shopping. The industry was valued at about USD55.65 billion in 2024 and is expected to grow by around 6 percent annually through 2030. E-commerce, in particular, is fueling demand for reliable delivery, tracking, and fulfilment services, with the sector expected to exceed USD28 billion in 2025.

To meet this demand, 2GO is expanding its express and e-commerce services, offering nationwide pickup, sorting, and last-mile delivery supported by digital tracking systems. The company said these services help businesses of all sizes deliver products faster and more efficiently.

Beyond e-commerce, 2GO also provides freight forwarding and specialized container services, including temperature-controlled and customized cargo handling. These support manufacturers, agribusinesses, and exporters involved in both domestic and international trade.

2GO’s sea-based logistics and ROPAX operations remain a key part of its business, connecting major and secondary ports across the country. Investments in port and passenger terminal upgrades are helping strengthen links between Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, supporting inter-island trade and travel.

Looking ahead, 2GO said it will continue investing in integrated logistics solutions that connect land, air, and sea transport. The company aims to make logistics simpler and more reliable for customers, from small businesses to large enterprises and online sellers.

2GO said its efforts support economic resilience by improving cargo movement, reducing costs, and expanding market access nationwide. As it enters 2026, the company reaffirmed its commitment to supporting national growth through dependable services, continuous improvements, and investments in logistics infrastructure.
