As it celebrates its 30th anniversary, health maintenance organization Intellicare is sharpening its growth playbook for 2026 and beyond, doubling down on digitalization and broader access to care.
The strategy signals a push to make healthcare services faster, simpler, and more inclusive as demand rises across both corporate and regional markets.
At the center of the plan is a major upgrade of the AGORA App, which Intellicare aims to position as the primary gateway for member services.
Enhancements include expanded use of electronic RCS or eRCS Express, designed to streamline referrals and requests for consultations and procedures. Customer service channels are also set for improvement, with upgraded feedback systems and new support tools to shorten response times.
Beyond digital upgrades, Intellicare is widening its footprint through Intellicare Locale, a suite of HMO programs tailored for budget-conscious micro, small, and medium enterprises. The offering targets regional growth centers, where demand for affordable and reliable healthcare coverage continues to accelerate.
The company is also weaving its Economic, Environmental, Social, and Governance (EESG) pillars more deeply into operations. Initiatives range from mindful sourcing and stronger support for local suppliers to promoting sustainable everyday practices among employees, reinforcing its long-term commitment to responsible growth.
“Intellicare’s vision is rooted in a dream embedded in our hearts 30 years ago, carried individually and collectively through challenges,” said Chairman Mario Silos. “With care at our core, we aim to lead the ripple and have it felt deeper.”
Financially, the strategy rests on solid ground. Based on the Insurance Commission’s 2025 third-quarter HMO report, Intellicare posted a net income of P715 million—the highest in the sector for the period.
Together with sister firm Avega Managed Care, Intellicare accounted for about 39 percent of industry net income, underscoring its leadership as it enters its fourth decade.
