Converge ICT Solutions Inc. is recognized as the fastest and most reliable broadband provider in the Philippines, topping the Department of Information and Communications Technology’s (DICT) 2025 performance audit.
The recognition comes from DICT’s nationwide monitoring program, Oplan Bantay Signal, which tested nearly 700,000 internet connections in Metro Manila. Converge recorded an average speed of 193.61 Mbps for both download and upload, along with a latency of 10.67 milliseconds, making it ideal for real-time applications.
“Converge ICT’s performance sets the national benchmark for fixed broadband excellence,” DICT Secretary Henry Aguda said.
“The company shows that fiber infrastructure can provide consistent, high-quality service across different areas.”
Converge officials said the report validates their ongoing efforts to improve network reliability and expand connectivity nationwide.
COO Benjamin Azada said they will focus on areas with weaker service while continuing to invest in network expansion and maintenance.
The DICT report also aligns with independent assessments, including Ookla, which named Converge the Fastest Fixed Network in the first half of 2025 and recognized it for the best video and gaming experience.
Aguda highlighted that the recognition supports the government’s goal of universal internet access under the Digital Bayanihan initiative, ensuring that education, entrepreneurship, and opportunities are accessible to all Filipinos.
