Airbus delivers 793 aircraft in 2025

Airbus said it delivered 793 commercial aircraft to 91 customers in 2025, up from 766 a year earlier, as demand for new planes remained strong. The company recorded 1,000 gross orders during the year, pushing its total backlog to a record 8,754 aircraft by the end of December. Airbus said it took in more orders than it delivered, achieving a book-to-bill ratio above one.

Deliveries increased across most aircraft families despite a challenging operating environment. Airbus delivered 93 A220 jets, 607 A320 Family aircraft, 36 A330 Family aircraft and 57 A350s in 2025. The company added new airline operators for the A220, A321XLR, A330neo and A350-1000, while also securing repeat orders. Its wide-body backlog rose to a record 1,124 aircraft.

Airbus said the first A350-1000 was delivered to Philippine Airlines late in 2025, the first of nine aircraft on order, with more deliveries expected this year.

Philippine Airlines is also due to receive A321neo aircraft from a separate order, while Cebu Pacific expects delivery of seven Airbus wide-body and narrow-body aircraft this year. Airbus will release its full-year 2025 financial results on 19 February 2026.
