Garmin makes golf possible every day

Garmin has unveiled the Approach® R50, a premium launch monitor and golf simulator that brings practice and play indoors—or anywhere with space. Designed for golfers of all levels, the R50 combines advanced metrics, virtual courses, and training tools in a portable, easy-to-use device.

A three-camera system tracks over 15 ball and club metrics, including spin rate, launch angle, and ball speed. High-speed impact videos let players review every shot in detail, helping improve swings and consistency. Every club in the bag can be analyzed, while training mode records sessions to track progress over time.

The R50 comes preloaded with more than 43,000 courses worldwide via the upgraded Home Tee Hero simulator. Golfers can play full virtual rounds, compete in weekly tournaments, and see their scores on global leaderboards—no matter the weather. Up to four players can join a single round, making it ideal for practice or social play.

Versatile setup options include a standalone display on the R50’s 10-inch touchscreen or connection to a monitor or projector for immersive gameplay.

Built-in Wi-Fi also supports top third-party simulators like GSPro, E6 Connect, and Awesome Golf.

Portable, easy to set up, and with up to four hours of battery life, the Approach R50 makes it possible to play, practice, and track improvement anywhere.

Pre-orders start February 8, with a suggested retail price of P307,790, giving golfers more rounds, more insights, and more ways to improve their game year-round.
