    DENZA Sets Philippine Premium Retail Foundations

    DENZA, the premium new energy vehicle brand under the BYD Group, has named its first dealer partners, formally laying the foundation for its retail presence in the Philippines and signaling its intent to build a long-term premium mobility business.

    The inaugural dealerships are DENZA Alabang and DENZA Cebu, operated by AC Mobility Premium Dealership Inc.; DENZA Makati, operated by Harmony New Energy Auto Service (Philippines) Ltd. Corp.; and DENZA Greenhills, operated by E-Vantage Motors Inc. The brand formally introduced the network during a ceremonial dealer awarding and media briefing on Thursday, January 22.

    Collectively, the partners represent the first step in establishing a premium ownership ecosystem designed to support DENZA customers nationwide, from sales and aftersales to brand experience and customer engagement.

    During the briefing, Adam Hu, country head of BYD and DENZA Philippines operations, outlined the brand’s strategic direction and reaffirmed its long-term commitment to the local market. 

    He emphasized that DENZA Philippines is the sole distributor of the brand, with a strategy focused on sustainable growth rather than short-term volume.

    “Our role in the Philippines is to build DENZA the right way—with leadership, clarity, and long-term intent. We’re not here simply to introduce vehicles, but to establish a premium brand that Filipino customers can trust and grow with over time,” Hu said.

    Looking ahead, Hu said DENZA plans to expand its dealership footprint in 2026, alongside the gradual rollout of a broader portfolio of premium new energy vehicles across key segments. Each launch will be deliberate and aligned with the brand’s philosophy.

    “The Philippine market is advancing rapidly and is ready for a new expression of premium,” Hu added, noting DENZA must reflect local expectations while staying true globally.
