Kia Philippines races ahead in 2025

Kia Philippines closed 2025 on a high, delivering a robust 16.7 percent year-on-year sales increase and cementing its position as the country’s fastest-growing mainstream automotive brand. The ACMobility subsidiary sold 7,810 vehicles during the year, up from 6,692 units in 2024, underscoring resilient consumer demand amid an increasingly competitive market.

“2025 was a defining year for Kia Philippines, as we achieved 16.7 percent year-on-year growth and emerged as the fastest-growing mainstream established automotive brand in the country,” said Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala, CEO of ACMobility. “This milestone reflects the strength of our product portfolio, our customer-centric approach, and our commitment to offering mobility solutions that meet the evolving needs of Filipino motorists.”

Growth was anchored by strong performances from Kia’s core nameplates.

The Kia Carnival ranked second in the premium midsize MPV segment, posting 30 percent year-on-year growth as families and executives gravitated toward its blend of space, comfort, and refined daily usability. The model continued to benefit from demand for versatile people movers with premium features.

The Kia Sonet also delivered a breakout year, securing second place in the entry subcompact SUV segment with a striking 54 percent year-on-year increase. Momentum was further amplified by the launch of the Sonet K-Style Edition, which sharpened the model’s appeal in a crowded, price-sensitive category.

Beyond volume gains, 2025 marked a strategic milestone for Kia Philippines with the completion of its three-prong powertrain strategy. The lineup now spans fuel-powered, fully electric, and turbo-hybrid vehicles.

Newly introduced turbo-hybrid models, including the Sorento 7-seater hybrid SUV and the Carnival Turbo Hybrid, broadened Kia’s reach among motorists seeking performance, efficiency, and sustainability in one package. The outlook remains upbeat as Kia scales products nationwide.
