MPower, the retail electricity supplier of Manila Electric Company (Meralco), partnered with Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC) to donate learning tools and school supplies to San Pedro Central Elementary School in Laguna.
The donation is part of MPower’s Back-to-School Donation Drive, now in its sixth year, carried out with One Meralco Foundation, Robinsons Malls, and Robinsons Land Foundation (RLove). The program aims to improve learning conditions for students and teachers.
More than 2,000 students and teachers benefited from items such as a television set, printer, school bags, books, paper supplies, disinfectants, reusable water bottles, and electric fans.
San Pedro Central Elementary School, known for its Special Science Program and support for students with special needs and from low-income families, is the 37th beneficiary of MPower’s iMPower corporate social responsibility program. The effort also supports RLC’s R Eskwela program, which focuses on improving public school facilities nationwide.
