MYEG Philippines, Inc. (MYEG PH) and the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) have renewed their partnership to further strengthen digital government services and improve ease of doing business for PEZA-registered firms nationwide.
The agreement was signed on January 28, 2026, at the PEZA office in DoubleDragon, Pasay City, by MYEG PH Chief Executive Officer Ann Margaret T. Saldaña and PEZA Director-General Tereso O. Panga, with officials from both organizations in attendance.
The renewed partnership enables PEZA locators to continue settling fees through MYEG’s secure, cashless, and largely paperless digital payment platform. The arrangement is designed to reduce transaction friction, accelerate compliance processes, and limit the need for physical visits to government offices—key benefits for export-oriented manufacturers and service firms operating in economic zones.
Saldaña said the renewed deal reflects MYEG’s commitment to making government transactions more accessible and efficient for businesses. She added that expanded payment options allow PEZA locators to focus more on operations and growth rather than administrative tasks.
Panga emphasized that digital partnerships are essential to PEZA’s one-stop, nonstop shop model. He noted that cashless and paperless systems enhance service delivery, promote transparency, and help strengthen the Philippines’ competitiveness as an investment destination.
Under the agreement, PEZA locators retain access to more than 100,000 MYEG payment touchpoints nationwide. These include e-wallets such as GCash, Maya, GrabPay, ShopeePay, and PalawanPay; online banking via major banks including BDO, BPI, UnionBank, and RCBC; and Visa, Mastercard, and JCB cards. Cash options remain available through partners like 7-Eleven, Bayad Center, Cebuana Lhuillier, and SM Malls.
The renewed pact underscores how targeted digitalization, particularly in payments, can significantly boost regulatory efficiency and investor confidence amid intensifying regional competition for foreign direct investment.
