    BDO wins Gold Anvil for influencer-led campaign

    BDO Unibank won a Gold Anvil Award for its “Kabayan Connections” campaign at the 61st Anvil Awards, recognized under the Best Use of Influencer Marketing category. The campaign stood out among entries from more than 170 companies in the annual awards organized by the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP).

    The campaign used well-known and trusted personalities to share timely financial and security tips with overseas Filipinos and their families in the Philippines. Actor Piolo Pascual helped build credibility and trust, reflecting his long-standing partnership with the bank. Social media personality Small Laude, together with content creators Christian Antolin and Justine Luzares, presented banking topics in a simple and relatable way through everyday storytelling.

    Rather than focusing only on products, Kabayan Connections aimed to build emotional connection and trust. By highlighting the real experiences and goals of overseas Filipinos, the campaign improved financial awareness, encouraged meaningful engagement, and supported BDO’s commitment to financial inclusion and care for Filipinos wherever they are.
