TP in the Philippines, formerly Teleperformance, has opened TP Davao Uprise, its second site in Davao City and fourth across Mindanao, underscoring its aggressive expansion in regional digital services hubs.
The new facility is located at The Uprise at Felcris Centrale Mall, a PEZA-accredited development designed to support scalable operations for both global and domestic clients.
TP said the site also houses a dedicated recruitment hub and employee-focused amenities, including a gym, karaoke room, and a basketball half court, reflecting the company’s push to attract and retain talent.
“The launch of TP Davao Uprise reflects our confidence in Davao City as a strategic growth hub and in Mindanao as a key pillar of the country’s IT-BPM industry,” said Rahul Jolly, chief executive officer of TP in the Philippines. He cited the city’s deep talent pool, improving infrastructure, and strong public–private collaboration.
Mindanao Development Authority Chair Leo Magno said the expansion supports job creation and accelerates digital transformation in the region. He added that continued investments from global firms signal Mindanao’s readiness to attract more local and foreign investors.
Davao City is home to more than 100,000 IT-BPM professionals, the largest concentration in Mindanao, known for strong English proficiency and comparatively low attrition rates. The workforce has established expertise in travel, hospitality, and other customer-centric services.
Strategically located in central Davao, TP Davao Uprise benefits from proximity to Francisco Bangoy International Airport and major transport links, supporting business continuity.
The new site complements TP’s existing operations in SM Davao, Cagayan de Oro, and General Santos, strengthening Mindanao’s position as a growing digital services delivery cluster. It is expected to create more technology jobs and spur inclusive regional economic growth further ahead.
