AboitizPower has added a new payment feature to its MobileAP app, allowing customers to pay their electricity bills using Billease through QR Ph. The update gives users more flexible and convenient ways to manage their power payments, including pay-later and installment options.
The new feature is available to customers of five AboitizPower distribution utilities: Visayan Electric in Cebu and nearby areas, Davao Light in Davao City and surrounding locations, Cotabato Light in parts of Mindanao, Subic EnerZone in Olongapo and the Subic Bay Freeport Zone, and Lima EnerZone in Batangas.
Through the MobileAP app, customers can now choose Billease as a payment method, generate a QR Ph code, and complete payment using the Billease app. Users can pay their electricity bill with zero interest until their next payday or spread the cost over installments of up to six months. There is no minimum bill amount and no added service fees for QR Ph transactions.
This marks the first time a traditional electric utility in these regions has offered a “pay later” option integrated into a mobile billing app. The feature uses QR Ph, the national QR payment standard, which supports secure and fast digital transactions across the country.
AboitizPower said the expanded MobileAP capabilities are meant to help customers better manage household expenses and support wider use of digital payments outside Metro Manila. For Billease, the partnership is its largest utility integration so far.
Customers of the five distribution utilities can start using Billease for electricity bill payments on the MobileAP app immediately.
