Ayala Foundation has appointed Australian curator Reuben Keehan as artistic director of Kontempo, its new contemporary art center in Circuit Makati. Keehan, currently at Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art, will relocate to the Philippines later this year.
His appointment reflects Ayala’s push to make Kontempo a hub for local and international contemporary art, fostering dialogue, creativity, and community engagement.
The center will host exhibitions, research, and educational programs along the revitalized Pasig River.
