    Philippine aerospace exports clear USD600M

The Philippines is quietly bolting itself into the global aviation supply chain—and the numbers are starting to hum.

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) reported that aerospace exports reached USD590.2 million in 2024 before climbing to USD603.1 million in the first nine months of 2025, according to data from the Board of Investments. The US, Singapore, France, and China ranked among the top markets, underscoring the country’s deeper integration into global production networks.

For an industry where precision is measured in microns and delays cost millions, that growth signals rising confidence in Philippine capabilities. “The Philippines is strengthening its foothold in the global aviation industry,” DTI said, citing the country’s expanding role as a competitive manufacturing and services hub.

Behind the export figures sits a maturing domestic ecosystem: established aerospace manufacturers, major maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) providers, and a growing web of local suppliers specializing in precision machining, components, and sub-assemblies. Many operate in investment-ready industrial zones and airport-linked developments—close enough to the runway to keep turnaround times tight.

The government is also pitching that momentum abroad. Through the Philippine Trade and Investment Centre in Singapore, DTI showcased aerospace manufacturing, parts production, and MRO services at the Singapore Airshow 2026. The effort focused on business matching and curated introductions between Philippine firms and foreign investors and buyers.

DTI’s presence formed part of the broader Philippine Pavilion initiative, backed by the Bases Conversion and Development Authority and the Department of Tourism, highlighting the country’s export-driven strengths to global aviation leaders.

If exports continue their upward trajectory, the Philippines may find itself not just along for the ride in global aviation—but helping keep it airborne.
