    ACEN lands TIME’s elite list

ACEN has secured a coveted spot in TIME and Statista’s Asia-Pacific’s Best Companies 2026, joining 500 top-performing firms recognized for shaping the region’s business landscape.

The annual ranking by TIME and Statista evaluates companies across three pillars: employee satisfaction, financial performance, and sustainability transparency or ESG. The assessment draws on employee surveys, revenue growth data, and environmental, social and governance disclosures.

ACEN’s inclusion highlights its push to balance profitability with purpose. The Ayala-led energy platform has been rapidly expanding its renewable portfolio across Asia and other markets, positioning itself as a key player in the global energy transition. Its recognition signals that investors and employees alike are taking note of both its growth trajectory and its sustainability commitments.

JP Orbeta, ACEN’s chief human resources officer, said the award affirms the company’s people-first culture and performance-driven mindset. He noted that empowering employees within an inclusive workplace strengthens the company’s ability to deliver meaningful impact as it scales up renewable energy investments.

ACEN joins fellow Ayala group companies on the 2026 list, including Ayala Corporation, Ayala Land, Bank of the Philippine Islands, and Globe Telecom, underscoring the conglomerate’s broad presence across industries in the Asia-Pacific.

For ACEN, the citation marks another milestone in its transformation from a domestic power generator into a global renewable energy platform. As capital flows increasingly favor sustainable enterprises, landing on the TIME-Statista list bolsters its standing among regional peers and reinforces its pitch to stakeholders seeking both returns and responsibility.
