Security Bank Corporation kicked off 2026 with the opening of five new branches in January, expanding its nationwide footprint to 383 branches and strengthening its presence in key growth areas across Luzon and Mindanao.
The new branches are located in Zamboanga City and Bangkal, Davao in Mindanao, as well as Tayug, Pangasinan; Angeles, Pampanga; and Silang, Cavite in Luzon. The expansion aims to support regional economies and improve access to financial services for households, entrepreneurs, and small and medium enterprises.
In Mindanao, the additional branches enhance the bank’s reach in major urban centers that drive regional trade and local enterprise. In Luzon, the new locations serve fast-growing communities and business districts in Central and Southern Luzon.
“These openings reflect our commitment to being present where growth is happening,” said Victor Lee Meng Teck, president and CEO of Security Bank. He noted that the bank aims to ensure individuals and businesses have access to reliable banking services as communities expand.
Leslie Cham, exexutive vice president and branch banking group head, said the branch network remains central to customer service, with each new location designed to integrate seamlessly with the bank’s digital platforms to deliver both convenience and personalized support.
Security Bank said the new branches are equipped to handle a full range of financial services, from daily transactions to financing and wealth management, as it continues to enhance both its in-branch and digital banking capabilities.
