    Likhang Filipino earns P8-M in first month, signals strong market demand

    The Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM) reported that Likhang Filipino earned more than ₱8 million in revenues just over a month after opening on January 15, 2026.

    The update was presented by executove director Leah Pulido Ocampo during the agency’s first Board of Governors meeting for the year.

    Located at the International Trade Center Complex along Roxas Boulevard in Pasay City, Likhang Filipino is positioned as the country’s premier year-round showroom, marketplace, and incubation hub for globally competitive Philippine-made products.

    Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) prwsident and general manager Wick Veloso, who represents GSIS on the CITEM Board, praised the center’s strong early performance. He said the results show the strong market potential of Philippine products but stressed the need to sustain and expand growth.

    Veloso called for wider digital access, stronger communications efforts, and more active use of social media to boost product visibility and reach more customers locally and abroad.

    The CITEM Board also includes representatives from the Office of the President, the Department of Trade and Industry, the Department of Tourism, and the Department of Agriculture, reflecting a coordinated government effort to promote trade and support local enterprises.
